Delaware River 8-19 8-20

Yesterday after Mike got off work we decide to hit the delaware and fish for a few hrs before the impending thunderstorms rolled through. After i got there And a few minutes Mike ends up landing a nice smallie in the 18inch mark. Sorry no pics of his fish as they are on his camera. A few minutes later i nailed another guys in the same size range on an xrap.

After that we got some more bites but couldnt hookup so we decided to make a move down river. At this point i managed to eat it on the river bank Slid on some mud and got covered all over my backside At that point i think i scared everyfish in the tri state area as we did not hook any more. We made it a point to get up nice and early and meet at Mikes around 6 am and head back to the river to wade. After getting there and setting up we started walking the river trying different baits. I through on a jd baits fatboy and came up with this 4lb largemouth

All in all it was a good day but man was it hot I was completly soaked through when we packed it in around noon and it wasnt cause my waders leaked bait of choice was jdbaits fatboys in burple And perch xrap. Was great getting out and wetting a line with you Mike as always and glad i finnally got out. With all the work ive been doing i havent been out in a week. Thanks for looking and enjoy the pics!

Im sure i can wait a month or two for it to cool down here in texas. lol
